I wouldn't hide it, but I wouldn't flaunt it if in Colorado ( they hate Texans), that would be like wearing Red Sox gear in Yankee Stadium.
I think Texas would be a decent place to live, but have never been there, outside of airports.
Never lived there, but have been through the area numerous times.
Dallas and Houston (the two cities where I have been before) seem to be nice. Add in the fact that housing costs are so cheap in much of Texas (compared to out here on the West Coast), and I think it would be a good place to live.
Doug, it has to do with the # of people from Texas moving to Colorado. Texas & California get the bad rap as being invaders.
The only difference is that people from Texas drive 75 in the snow until they hit the ditch & people from Cali drive 20 until they get run off the road.

I've always done well with women from Texas when I lived in Ca,Co, and NV. It's like I hear Texas, I know I'm getting some.
Everybody I've ever met from Texas seemed pretty cool. I don't actually know why Coloradans hate Texans.... leave that one to TTinCo.
I've considered moving there.
