If you think Florida will destroy Oklahoma, you are out of your mind!

Hands down. They play in the Big 12, the 2nd best conference. Look at their victories and how many points they score. The only team that could stop them was Texas and even then they put up 35 points. Have you seen what they have done to their opponents before the Texas loss and after the Texas loss? This team has the best offense in college football. What team can score the way they do and with ease.

I saw many threads that Florida would destroy Alabama but the thing is Alabama is a very good team but they just don't have much offense. They play smash mouth football but have no big plays.

How are the Gators going to stop the Sooner Passing Attack? I know Florida should and is going to be favored in this game but this game should be essentially a pickem or OU being a slight favorite. I mean, Florida can score with your running attack and 10-15 yard passes and options but those scores take lot of time, though that does help keep the ball away from the Sooners.

What are the Gators going to do when OU starts airing the ball every single possession? When OU gets the ball, how many times do you think Florida will force them to punt? I am guessing maybe 2 times maximum. This team has the best passing attack in college football and people here think Florida will destroy OU?

And i hear people say Stoops will have another poor BCS title game for the Sooners. Well didn't they beat FSU back in '99? All everyone talks about is the game they had against LSU and lost by 7 and losing by 30 plus against the USC trojans back in 2004. I have not seen any team in CFB this year with an offense as prolific as theirs.

Yes Gators play Georgia, Alabama, and all the tough teams in the SEC but their loss was at home to Ole Miss who is a below average team. This is like USC losing to those OSU beavers though they didn't lose at home. Oklahoma lost to a well respected Texas team on a neutral field and I am sure many of you were aware there were many flags on OU in that game that was BS. I had Texas in that game and I couldn't believe those calls and no reviews they had in that game.

I just think it is very dumb for anyone to say Florida will blowout OU. If anything, the Sooners would be the one blowing out Florida.

Second best conference? Which conference would you say is better than? I will say that the Big 12 is probably overrated, but it's still the top conference by far. The SEC might be the second best and that is sad because it is weak this year. Very down year overall.

As for your point I definitely think OU can beat Florida. Florida deserves to be the favorite though.

Florida!!! Okla. QB, Bradford will spend twice as much time on ground
as he did against Texas. Both are very well coached. Alabama got
away with much "dirt" in game. That's bad coaching in playoff games.
Too bad that coach has kept that mindset. Today the dirt was obvious
at least 6 plays. Alabama cannot beat great teams playing "dirty". Best
team, by far, prevailed to win with class.

I'm a Big 12 homer and one that thinks this conference is amazing, and will show it's true colors and kick some amazing ass in the bowl games (see Okie State, Tech, Mizzou, Kansas and Texas), HOWEVER, Oklahoma is going to get boat raced by Florida. There's no way around it. You can talk about my sig all you want, but the truth is us Longhorns will be pulling for the Sooners so that we may hope for a split Nat'l Title. Ain't happening, OU's getting a mudhole stomped in them. BOL.

Florida first to score, had the lead at the half in case you forgot, had more 1st downs, etc, etc. So when you say Bama dominated for 3 quarters, please help me understand which 3 quarters you are talking about. They dominated the 3RD quarter but not for 3 and half my friend. But either way when the two square off in Jan, good luck to all those betting on OU to straight up destroy Florida.

These are two very good college football teams that are going to meet in the game that determines the national champions (for a little while). The rosters are loaded with talent; fan support will be huge asnd the hype will even be bigger.

Both coaches have their good (and bad) days. they are passionate (in their own way) and they are winners.

Obviously, one of these teams is going to win. it sure will be interesting to find out which one.

Who knows, there might even be a few guys in this forum who might make a wager or two to back up their desire and passion.

OU hasn't seen a defense anywhere close to what UF will bring to Miami. Top 5 vs top 50. Texas was the best D that OU faced all year - ranked 50 in total D, 59 in pass efficiency D, 18 is scoring D, 2 in rush D. Florida is better in every category by a mile except rush D.

OU's defense however will have a bitch of a time stopping UF - especially with a healthy Percy Harvin. You can pretty much guarantee 45 points for the Gators.
