When people are not playing with real money, opinions of others is how they measure the value of their picks. I have said many times that most on this site do not play with any meaningful amounts on their plays. I can swear to this and have seen it for many years now. Most would not know a serious CASH play at a window if it walked up and kicked them in the nuts.
However, we have to recognize this is "entertainment" for so many posters. That is all it is, so don't be too upset when you see these "ten unit damn all reason" locks and such. Just smile and go on. Boys will be boys.

A week or so ago a poster openly stated that he was playing ten times his normal unit on some big-assed play he had come up with (Wisconsin on the road).
Even after it was pointed out how ignorant his thinking was he insisted his thinking was sound.
Even if his "normal" unit was $10 (grocery dollars), betting only $110/100 on his BIG PICK would be completely crazy. If anyone values their units they just can't do lots of the crazy crap we read about on here.

I could care less if anyone disagrees but when you come in my thread and say Wichita plays down to their competition when in reality, they've beaten 17 of their 20 opponents by 10 or more, you just look slow. You just look like you're trolling because what you're saying isn't reality and in that case, you have to be called on your bullshit.

I have to disagree on this as well. I've followed the shockers close this year mainly Bc I placed a wager on them preseason to win it all at 28-1. Their normal pattern is play a close first half and pull away In the second. Not sure if thats what you meant by playing down to their opponent, but they can easily cover double digit spreads.
