Please tell me why. Not being facetious.......just looks to me like all signs are pointing to men in blue.

I know theres a trend, home teams on Thur. But that seems minuscule compared to momentum, motivation, talent, and health factors all favoring NY. If I've missed something........please let me know, it might govern how big Christmas is this year.

Thanks.......and BOL to all!

I think the line is the biggest reason I like them this week. Im a total homer but 2.5 seems REALLY light for a team that should easily win, especially with a potential post season clinch on the line.

Just because a team needs to win doesn`t mean they`ll actually do it, just take a look at what happened to Washington at home against Carolina. Maybe the line is only -2.5 because Philadelphia hasn`t lost back-to-back games against the Giants since 2008, they are also 13-4 SU&ATS vs the Giants. Eli Manning's five career losses against the Eagles are his most against any opponent, as are his 26 career interceptions thrown against Philadelphia. The -2.5 line seems like a gift, it`s like the oddsmakers are begging you to bet on the Giants. The Eagles just scored 26 points at Baltimore and actually had a chance to win that game and if they had no problem scoring 26 points on the road against a really good defense, what makes you think they`ll not do the same at home against their East Division rivals? One average game from the Giants defense and their done, their offense will not bail them out. I`m staying away from this game.

The line being suspiciously low a terrible reason considering how this year has gone, just look at last week when oak, pit, Mia all had very similar lines and covered, it been going on all season. Personally I've never thought this was a very good premise to make a bet as I prefer betting teams that my numbers say have value not on teams catching less points than they should and there no way there value on philly here imo. To each is own but this been a terrible year for that line of thinking. I hate thu night games and not touching so either way GL.

Thanks guys. I believe the giants will win......... but being Thur, and Jenkins being iffy, add Eli's proclivity to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.....and the "pass advice" seems prudent. Thanks for the input.

Happy holidays to all.

Local Eagles fan here. Here's an article that tells you why birds tonight. Lane Johnson back. This will dramatically improve this oline. No reason to flop due to first Rd pick being tied to Vikings record since Bradford swap. Spoiling giants playoff run is much more important than our 2nd Rd draft position. I expect Byron Marshall to be involved again. An undrafted rookie out of Oregon, his cuts reminded me of Westbrook. Kid has skills. Eagles have been legit at home playing a ton of close games. Wentz is getting better every week despite a poor receiving corps. Check out the article, it spells it out for you. I rarely bet my team, but 500 sounds like easy money.

johnson being back is big, certainly don't think philly will lay down (fact is pretty rare teams simply lay down and quit, it happens but not as much as it talked about), all that you saying being true doesn't change fact gmen are a far superior team and while philly may very well win I see no value taking them at this number that feels short to me.

Giants most overrated team in football. They don't top 20 points against good defensive teams. Pair that with no jpp and an away tilt with their east rivals who have zero pressure to perform. Eagles just moved the ball away against Baltimore. Does 20 pts get it done for the Giants? No. They lose. Beckham snuggles like he always does. Wentz gets better behind a reinforced oline. Giants get exposed. They've had such a pitiful non conference schedule and due for a let down after barely beating Dallas. Just my opinion. I obviously see value. A lot of it.

They not gonna rush for a 170 vs gmen and their passing offense is garbage. The fact they finally had a decent offensive gm vs Balt has little to do with this game, 22 at home vs skins, 14 at Cincy, 13 at home against pack suspect d, 15 at sea. Thinking it some foregone conclusion they easily get into the 20s is wishful thinking, gmen could easily win this game with 20 but not sure why that their cealing when everyone scoring more than that against this d including nyg the 1st meeting. Maybe phi wins maybe not but there no value for them in this number no matter how hard you want there to be.

Why can't they rush for that against the gmen? They just did it against the number 2 rush defense without Darren Sproles in Baltimore. They now get their pro bowl left tackle back as well as the sproles back. Not many people know this but Eagles lead the league in time of possession

I guess they can but I prefer to judge a team off what they been majority of the year not 1 outlier anomaly game. Last 10 games they have only rushed for more than even 100 a few times, only other time they had a performance like this was against falcons miserable run d, they got 95 in 1st meeting vs nyg. So sure they can but it ain't very likely they even rush for 100, sproles has never been accused of bolstering a rushing attack, sure he a nice piece catching passes but hardly a feared between the tackle runner.

Sure they have the ball a lot, they attempt to run plenty, never throw the ball down the field, and milk the play clock every snap. Their 27th in the league in yards per play and have been even worse than their season average the last 3 weeks. A suspect rookie qb with very few talented weapons outside the te around him and a defense that was a strength but been leaking oil of late facing a nyg team you say overrated but has been playing the best defense in football by far and playing to secure a playoff spot. No clue how there value in philly with a line you pretty much have to have them win? Not saying they won't win I hate thu night garbage game of week and it does favor the home team (if this was Sunday or I guess sat this week I'd be on nyg at this number) i just Don't think you getting a good enough number to do so, 3.5 id say yea go for it but that just me.. gl

Eagles huge advantage on special teams. Sometimes Thursday night low scoring games, that's the difference. Good luck to those with a horse. 525/500 +3 -105

Eagles moved the ball with ease last time they played giants got out early scored on turnovers but never put them away. The eagles have no reason to play conservative here.I believe points will come easy and often

That is true they turned ball over on down multiple times I believe and got inside red zone on final drive. That said since then philly passing offense been figured out/regressed and gmen defense has continued to get better. Points rarely come easy on Thursday nights, total awful low if you feel that way.
