This is just the last in a long line of bad beats for me. This game was obviously fixed, I dont give a f##k what anyone else says. F #(@*$&@# ing ridiculous. Im done betting on sports, for real.

i've been watching sports for a long time, and thats one of those things you wonder about... I could see if MD was running down for another play, but just standing in your own backcourt not even dribbling waiting for the 10 seconds to run and the game be over and you get fouled. completly absurd.

A little different perspective. Over at SSB, SY had a play on the over 148, with the total sitting at 87 at the half, and the 2nd half line at 81', just had to buy back for the 20 point middle. (YES!)

The down side, did take a little nibble on the TCU+10', and got screwed, but more than made up for it on the total and middle. It's all history, now, c'mon Ill-5 and Under!

after reading this thread...and with only 10 seconds left...im 100% sure this was a RIGGED game and the TCU coach was betting MD....maybe he acted like hs said NO do not foul and the player did it anyway that way it does not look suspicious and then that player gets a cut of the money...

I don't think fixed games are determined at the end. I think the fix is handled early on. Who knew the kid would make or miss the shots?

fixed games are based on missing shots, not making them. If you've never seen a game land a point or two off the number then you haven't been gambling very long.

Correct....TCU missed alot of shots that they had a good look at, same shots they were making with no problem the first 37 minutes...

Then have to bail themselves out with a late foul because they did not miss enough....

Alll the makings of a bag job....If I ever saw one....

Bucknell on Sunday was worse because the coach was doing the same thing and the players waited until their was 1.8 left to foul. It was 1 player, the rest of the team were untucking their shirts.

Point is that if a TCU player was in on a fix, then he was praying that the Maryland guy hits his free throws. That's not a fix. A fix is to assure a certain outcome.
A fix is a big 35-point favorite playing North Kansas Silo Tech and missing a few key shots to win by 28. Nobody notices point-shaving when it happens for a reason.

Fixes do not always work, they are not 100%, they do lose...

The team or player that is doing it tries all they can to get it to happen but sometimes it does not....They try to put the game into position for a cover sometimes it just does not happen...

This was very obvious today....
