Hi guys, I am looking into buying a place in either CR or the Bahamas and if i picked CR. I was wondering what is the nicest area in CR to buy or build a 3-5 million dollar home. I am looking for ocean and beach with 5-10 acers of land. Any comments would be helpful thanks.

Mal pais , place on the backroad to cabuya from mal pais would be money. I have a piece over in cabuya love it there. laidback and only 10 minute drive to montezuma or mal pais.

There are several Hollywood celebs with houses there.

Although honestly its been 5 years since I've been to Montezuma & Mal Pais, 5 years since I've been to Nosara, and 7 years since I've been to Flamingo. I my self would build a place near Los Suenos, but only because I need to be an easy commute to Escazu (new freeway will be great).

I would do both, personal research and asking pro's but ultimately the best thing to do is to spend a few months in the area you are thinking about....to see if your research or claims by the pro are real before committing to a purchase

Thanks for the responce guys. I hear alot if good things about CR. I also hear crime and issues with needing personal gaurd's . That is why I am
leaning towards Bahamas . But wanted to hear what you local guys had to say. Thanks for the input!
