Winky? you think that he would know why he did what he did to all those innocent people??? he was a MADMAN...doubt he would know why

agree - he is insane - but that might make it even better to try and talk with him and find out his reasoning for it - and see if he tripped over his own words a few times.

whenever networks show bios on the crazy leaders of the world (stalin, mussolini, saddam, etc.) those are usually the most fascinating ones to watch because these guys are SO "out there" it makes you walk away shaking your head in desbelief. the shows that deal with people whose lives are so vastly different than ours almost always make for the best "bio kind" of shows.

saw this thing on hitler a few months ago on the history channel. very interesting. a genius/madman.

one thing that made me feel even more horrible about what he did was that he admired the americans for "how they handled the native indians". he had a plan to put the jews of europe on reservations...just like the good ole u.s.a. then when germany started getting their ass kicked all over the place, he decided to implement "the final solution".

tragic...and sadly, not that different from our history.

and this gets to what i was saying. the fact hitler (and others like him) are so wacko - shows on them make for FASCINATING viewing because when the show is over you walk away shaking your head in disbelief over what you saw and not believing someone that powerful could be THAT "nutso"

the sad truth is that hitler wasn't all that different than some of the people running this country 200 years ago. once you identify a group of people as "sub-human", you can pretty much do whatever you want to them.
