Sometimes you think the way to go is being on the books side..........I dont know how many times I have said there is no way I would want to be the book on that game......and the books side wins easily..........

going against the public doesn't work all the time, in fact I read a story recently about how this was one of the worst years for the books in a long time. This is mainly because "public favoured" teams like NE, Pitt, Philly and Indy were absolute covering machines most of the year, it seemed like no spread Vegas made was too big for them to cover. However, eventually everything balances out and we started seeing that the past 2 weeks....playoffs will certainly be interesting..

Putting aside the seemingly endless pre-occupation you all have for this topic, What I cant understand is, the number of posts from people who give the impression that they are successful punters, saying that what other people choose is one of the main criteria influencing their own selection.
