I will give the Repubs a tiny bit of credit in that a few have resigned when caught red-handed as opposed to Dems who just get re-elected (like Jefferson) and claim they are victims of witch hunts and conspiracies.
The best move we could make to clean up Congress is to bar lawyers and/or their spouses from holding office.

Remember when Foley exposed? The Dems wanted answers as to who knew what and when.
Now that Jefferson is exposed, will the Democrats have the same sort of investigation? Will we find out who knew what and when?

I think this goes to the very top. I think Nancy P must resign immediately. I thought she was going to clean this up within 100 hours.

This dude is a deeply connected, long standing politician. So, he is a long way from being behind bars.
Along with Jefferson, there are many others in Washington DC that should be in prison.
Agree, if this was a Republican with equal status, power, and seniority in Congress, the libs at this site would have posted more than a couple bashing threads.
