It was on 60 Minutes tonite - Mike wallace interviewed Bob Woodward. Of course, wait for the Republican attack dogs to come out on Woodward even though he has transcripts and tapes. the first book by him about Bush, Bush at War (I think) depicted him in a favorable light but the second one will mark him as a left wing communist scumbag.

Whenever I see Woodward I am reminded of his claim to have interviewed William Casey alone while he was in a coma surrounded by his family. Then I look at his claim of a Deepthroat, and the credibility flies out the window. Anonymous sources (74 of 75 in this book) are hardly a good way to impeach a president. So he has tapes he will never make public from sources he will never name, and we are supposed to trust him?

Just how credible is this "journalist." I'm always wary of someone selling a "tell all" book. Their motives are questionable.
Even if true, this will be dismissed as an accounting error, AKA fuzzy math. It was used to fight the war on terror, damn it! To catch all the "evil do-ers," thats why! Don't you feel safer? Hell, we've caught Saddam and killed his sons!
Clearly, there has been a pattern of deception. But impeachment? Not a chance, you have to screw an intern for that, right?

Alex, it's call a typo and I didn't notice until now. To that actual issue, it's an offense which is a "high crime or misdemeanor". Diverting funds appropriated to one war to secretly start another which we now know was started under false pretenses and questionable motives = IMPEACHABLE. I realize it will never happen, but it is.
