why does it take so long to train Iraqi's who will be doing it full time?

Lack of Iraqi Command Structure. A soldier can be trained in weeks, a commander takes much much longer.

Pretty good deal for them. They get trained by US soldiers and then use that training to kill them.

And let's not forget that we are all paying their salaries too...I guess the U.S. is one of the nations that "Sponsors Terrorism".

This is a good point. When you consider the tactics employed now by terrorists - would this really be a stretch for them? Hell they'd be paid and probably eat and live better while training than they do now.
