Denver has to be able to run or they are going to get smashed. Their defense is good enough to keep them in the game but not if they are on the field all day. If they eat some clock on the ground cam newton could get frustrated. If they slow the game down (slug-fest) its going down to the wire. If they don't this could be a carolina blowout.....

Denver will run the ball. And shove it down Carolina's throat. Then when Carolina stacks the box against the run, Manning will shred Robert McClain and recently returned from retirement Cortland Finnegan.

I'm amused by all the folks that think Carolina is going to blow Denver out.

Agreed. Carolina is a little full of themselves right now. You still have to play the game. Denver getting no respect and they just beat 2 really good offensive of teams.

I'm on Denver big! Scam Newton will choke against Denver's defense. I'm not worried about Denver's offense trying to score...they WILL score.

As I said in another thread, Davis' injury could be huge for Denver because if he could play at full speed, I do not think Denver could run on Carolina. When they go one dimensional, Manning is a sitting duck, much like Brady was this past week. Newton's mobility means Ware and Miller cannot crash the edges like they did this past week. Newton will run for a lot of yards if they do that. They will have to be more controlled and, consequently. less effective. This matchup reminds me of Baltimore-SF a few years ago. Flacco and a good defense v. Kaepernick. I had Baltimore, but could easily have lost on the last play of the game. May be very similar this year.

Don, I live in Bellevue, Pa. Pitt wasn't a good offensive team last week. Big Ben hurt, no AB, no Bell and Williams, no Pouncey. Defense held them in game because Peyton couldn't throw the ball more than 20 yds down field .

Have a feeling it is going down to the wire. Wouldn't be crazy if Brock Osweiler came off the bench and won the game.

Well that makes 3 really good QB's that the Denver defense beat up bad. Big Ben, Brady and Cam Newton.

One more thing. Manning needs to retire. I would have benched him for Osweiler. He is done.....
