IF such a chain came to Costa Rica... it could become the PREMIER DINING SPOT. I could see execs, and VIPS choosing to dine there.
The problem with this brand is that it is not a "well known" brand amongst the locals, so it would take time before word got out, and people started telling people. Maybe you could make arrangements with the big 5 star hotels, or with travel agencies.
In Costa Rica, more and more food options are being made available, and I cannot see the Restaurant Industry slowing down anytime soon. It seems the tourism industry keeps all these food chains thriving, but fact is all Ticos seem to love eating out... and they don't mind spending more than a full day or two's salary on a meal.
Considering the construction of MEGA CONVENTION CENTER is in the government's plans, more and more execs from all around the Central America region will continue visiting.
This past Sunday I went to have lunch at Los Anonos BBQ in Escazu. They recently renovated, and expanded the restaurant's size, doubling their seating capacity. Even so, I still had to wait for at least 20 minutes just to be seated! Maybe I should have walked... but you know... we weren't the only ones waiting. There were at least another 4-7 families waiting ahead of us. The food was worth the wait.
