I'm not talking about legal immigrants who follow US law to become citizens. In less than 20 years, if we do not stop the invasion, ILLEGAL aliens and their offspring will be the dominant population in the United States," said Jim Gilchrist, director of the Minute Man Project. <DT> <DT>According to US Border Control, "Illegal aliens will have made such inroads into the political and social systems that they will have more influence than our Constitution over how the U.S. is governed. The ugly consequence of an ignored U.S. Constitution is already taking place." <DT> <DT>"I am a 47 year old American who lost my job to outsourcing," said Ken Boettger from Ellensburg, Washington. "I have spent the last of my retirement and am at my wits end. And I will tell you what, I WILL NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT!" <DT> <DT>"If those in government think they can control us, like Iraq, they better think again," Boettger said. "The new microwave systems, sonic amplifiers and more will be turned against them. Hackers, engineers, physicists and others are ready to respond to the call. WE are the ones they have abused. And just as was with Oppenhiemer, Einstein and others in their days, so too it will be in our days to come." <DT> <DT>"Bush, and those giving him his direction, continually overstep their competency and their understanding of the will and capability of the American people," <DT> <DT>Boettger said. "I believe, in the end, they are going to get similar treatment they gave to Saddam. I had no love for Saddam, but I will tell you what, my dislike for George Bush is tangible and far worse. His father and those who work behind the scenes in controlling this nation are worse than the son. Their arrogance and pride will only make things worse for them in the end. I am in front and will likely fall, but there is a very large wave behind me. As Einstein said, Hitler's fault was that he turned the whole world against him. SO TOO BUSH and the elite in this country!" <DT> <DT>How many readers find themselves betrayed by this president that refuses to honor his oath of office? How many stand in unemployment lines while Bush struts about his Washington parties? How many see their jobs outsourced? Why has our national language been usurped by illegal aliens? Why have our schools been overrun? What has happened to our health care? Who isn't affected by the migration invasion? <DT> <DT>"They are such idiots in their blind greed and lust for domination and power," Boettger stated. <DT> <DT>"I wrote an article about my experience in Boeing as a consultant with green carded Chinese," Boettger said. "Boeing looked the other way. They did not give a damn as long as they had cheap labor. I say Boeing, but it was actually corporate. It was the corporate elite in this country. No different than the elite in other suppressed nations. No different than the Third Reich (GOP)." <DT> <DT>"The corporate elite have a corporate nation that has no geographical boundaries," Boettger said. "They have set up shop outside the US to survive the great fall. And so it is apparent it was premeditated. It is a corporate world government that exists right now and they don't give a damn about US sovereignty, US soil or the American people. They only care about corporate sovereignty that is in direct conflict with the people and the US Constitution. They hold to no holistic principles, care nothing about the environment, and would sell their own daughters and grandmothers to sexual slavery if they could make a profit. They have NO morals." <DT> <DT>Boettger added, "China is in bed with the corporate elite. It was set up from the beginning. It is time to give that alarm. I am the one of the front runners to give that call. Whatever role I play, I am committed to giving my life for what this nation ONCE was. Even if that implies standing against the current government! It looks like some in power are starting to take the lead... and I WILL be there for them. And so I probably will not be around to see the end of it all. But this I hope and I pray." <DT> <DT>This Congress, and Bush need to be chased into their old age for what they did to America. "Absolutely everything should be taken away from them," Boettger said. "They should be forced to live in poverty without medical aid. Their kids should be forced to attend schools where no one speaks English. They should suffer the crime, drugs and diseases they perpetrate on Americans with this illegal invasion. God forbid and while I know this is un-Christian like, as I am a Christian, I hope God has absolutely no mercy upon their souls. God forgive me for wishing that upon them. Because if that proves to be true, as I believe it is, they will be terrorized for eternity. Bush invites this illegal alien invasion on my country and children and my fellow Americans, but he better know this--I will not go quietly into the night." </DT></DL></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></CENTER></DT>

it does make sense....IF you look at the big picture....NAFTA.(SHAFTA) and now CAFTA...this will open the borders up and break down America's middle class...all these leaders (beside Ron Paul (R) TX) are committed to a world government...
I dont know why i even care...its better for my business as i am distributing construction material into all of Latin America and my business would prosper...but I dont care about that....its taking us down a bad road....
they just dropped the quota's on the textile for Chinese manufacturers and even in Latin America they wont be able to compete....i could give you a discertation on what China is really doing...but we will save that for another post....i represent the largest paint and stucco company from Korea and they have one manufacturing plant in China....i can import the products (as a brand) at far greater quality and the landing cost is in line with the crappy products on the market in Latin America....

Cmon Rob, stopping illegal immigrants hasn't been a priority for any administration in the last 30 years. It's not an R or a D problem, it's an American problem. Bush isn't stopping it. Clinton didn't stop it. Bush I didn't stop it. Reagan did a little, but not much. Carter opened the flood gates. Ford and Nixon viewed it only as a "California" issue. I am firmly with you that the Bushies aren't doing squat....but neither did any of the others, including D presidents. And Kerry wouldn't have done squat either. So sure, we can criticize the current dope in office, but they've all been incompetent on this issue. On this issue, there's enough blame to spread around to the Prez and all the Rs and Ds in Congress for the last 30 years who didn't exercise any kind of leadership to stop it.

Reagan gave amnesty to 3+ million illegal aliens in 1986.

The flood of illegals into this country may be helping American companies turn a profit, but it is hurting the American worker.

By Joseph N. Dassaro

January 15, 2004

President Bush's broad proposal to grant legal status to illegal aliens calls into question his ability to uphold the laws of this nation, protect American workers and truly comprehend the basic security needs of this nation. Subsequently, the average American will be forced to shoulder the resulting adverse socioeconomic and security issues such as decreasing wages and diminishing jobs, increased social costs and the inevitable, "legalization" of violent criminals.

The American people will be forced to deal with these problems for generations to come while companies such as Wal-Mart and Tyson Foods will immediately profit from cheap labor. Even the unions will gain from this amnesty, as it will provide a new, more confident group of potential members. Everyone will benefit except American citizens.

The position of this Republican President in regard to amnesty should be of little surprise to anyone who knows history and understands that the fundamental economic "drive shaft" of Republican economics is cheap labor (ask Newt Gingrich about the onion fields in Georgia). The last amnesty, enacted in 1986, was the brainchild of Ronald Reagan, also a Republican president.

This amnesty was a false bill of goods sold to the American people on the premise that there would only be one amnesty in order to allow the Immigration and Naturalization Service to get a handle on illegal immigration. Reagan granted amnesty without consideration to potential adverse consequences; consequences such as the immediate rush of illegal aliens to enter the United States fraudulently claiming eligibility for amnesty and who themselves later petitioned for family relatives who in turn petitioned for their own relatives.

Further exacerbating the problem was the fact that no president, Republican or Democrat, has required the INS (or its successor agency) to enforce laws relating to employer sanctions. Therefore, despite the amnesty, in fact, due to the amnesty, illegal immigration accelerated at unchecked rates.

However, while Reagan's amnesty may be logically dismissed as a failed experiment at controlling illegal immigration, without the benefit of historical hindsight and experience, President Bush has the benefit of history to see that his plan cannot work. However, this president has chosen to ignore history in an effort to secure re-election and provide cheap labor to fuel the economy. What is perhaps most alarming, however, is the fact that he is doing this at what he calls "a time of war."

Ask any Border Patrol agent what they think of the president's plan, and you are sure to hear quite a few expletives in reply. Border Patrol agents and other agents of the newly created Department of Homeland Security are scratching their heads and questioning their relevance in securing the nation, a relevance already called into question a number of times during the transition from legacy agencies.

How can these agents be asked to continue to risk their lives every day to enforce the laws of this nation if the president does not respect those laws? The actions of the president are tantamount to nothing less than spitting on the graves of all federal agents that have died in the line of duty securing the borders of this nation.

During the last presidential election, Republicans loudly proclaimed that Democrats pandered to Latino voters. They further claimed that Democrats were soft on border issues.

Well, here is a little trade secret from someone who personally witnessed history in the making in the Border Patrol. The Clinton administration provided the United States Border Patrol more resources to accomplish its mission than ever before.

That administration, and not previous Republican administrations, provided the agency with new agents, vehicles, radios, body armor and modern handguns. Prior to the influx of these resources, agents drove dilapidated vehicles, relied on inferior radio equipment, paid for body armor out of their own pockets and used recycled revolvers.

In addition, whether you agree or not, the simple fact is that Operation Gatekeeper worked in securing the immediate border in San Diego. Simply stated, the Clinton administration did more to stop illegal immigration than every Republican administration, before and after, combined.

Admittedly, during the Clinton administration there were politically charged "mixed signals" regarding the enforcement of immigration law. However, those mixed signals are much louder and demoralizing under the Bush administration, especially in the context of a post-Sept. 11 world.

In the end, this amnesty, as the amnesty before it, will only be a prologue to the next amnesty under another Republican administration. American wages and benefits will continue to diminish as the supply of cheap labor outweighs demand.

Illegal aliens will continue to cross the border and die in the desert. American taxpayers will continue to shoulder at least $20 billion a year in social programs utilized by both legal alien residents and illegal aliens (in fact, we will consider this cheap in 10 years). Mexico will continue to refuse extradition of cop killers. Special interest groups will demand an even bigger amnesty (which they will get). Both unions and corporations will benefit from the ever-increasing supply of cheap labor in some sort of perverted political bed made by the president.

Meanwhile, Border Patrol agents will dutifully go through the motion of enforcing laws undermined by our president, and the American middle class will ultimately pay the price for this negligence.

Maybe I will retire to Mexico. What's their immigration policy?

Dassaro is president of the National Border Patrol Council, Local 1613, in San Diego.

Dubya just gave a 1 hour press conference, and no one asked him about the illegal immigration problem!! Crazy.

Point well taken, Sun Dodger. Reagan did "try" to address the problem, but alas his solution didn't work.

I was not surprised at all about the press' failure to ask W questions about immigration. The focus of so many people in DC...in govt. staff positions,on the Hill and in the media ... is on the partisanship, the battle of the day, the ongoing tussle between Rs and Ds. It's all about creating and maintaining conflict, not on solving problems. The press that covers the president and Congress is a big part of the problem. They feed into the conflict and feed on it. Conflict inside the beltway is their daily red meat. And there is little conflict on immigration...few in DC care about it and they aren't in leadership positions to get it on any legislative agenda. The DC media is as out of touch with what those of us across the country think and feel about immigration as the politicians they cover.
