I want to find out the volume at horse tracks

I was looking at ehorse and they have all these limits on different tracks. I want to find some place that lists the volume of certain Race tracks. When i say volume i mean how much money was wagered at that track last year.

Anyone have a solution?

You might also try Equibase, or contact the Jockey Club, I think they are in Lexington, KY.

KY,NY,Southern Cal tracks handle the most, with the mule tracks like fairmount,thisledowns ect handle the least. What is it that your trying to figure out. The percentage of the take is the key in pari-mutual wagering.

Try this DRF website for track Information. Click on any track and page down you will find % of takeout on all types of wagers. For handle you might have to go to individual track web-site. Daily handle can be found under results at DRF. after the last race is posted. eg today at Calder:Calder Race Course Attendence:3462 Mutuel Pool:$324,817 ITW Mutuel Pool: $321,725 ISW Mutuel Pool: $4,005,688.
