I think they should make the seats bigger cause those seats, except for first class, the way I roll, are too small. Rather than the airlines cutting their own fat to reduce these here costs, they chose to charge individuals, with weight of preference, a large chunk of booty to fly.

This not be good in my opinion. This here chubby tax in insulting and carries little weight in my opinion.

This is my take on this here issue. Make the seats larger to accommodate the tubby people in the world.

I hate flying coach because I am in the fetal position for the whole flight. Too much grey area, and do they expect some flight attendant to approach the passengers and call them out or size them up at the gate? Just make the seating bigger and charge more per passenger. Bingo! You nailed it my friend. They will be legal actions and I think the plaintiffs win outright cause of the reasons you framed. The plaintiff will carry much weight in these law actions in my opinion. Rock on!

In other news, Kennedy has been shot and the Japanese have bombed pearl harbor. This isn't exactly recent.

SouthWest started doing this like 6-7 years ago. It made news in Vegas back then when some UNLV football player caused a scene when they made him buy 2 seats to go home after school or Xmas if memory serves.

This here breaking news is very disturbing in my opinion. There was little if any validity for that there charge back then in my opinion. A Seminole issue indeed.

He/she should of tossed their weight around and refused to pay. If they in turn refused to board him/her, him/her should of just started to cry and called a press conference. This would of carried a lot of weight in my opinion. This is not good in my opinion.

Based on this logic, than people that drive gas guzzling SUV's and pickup trucks should pay a higher rate for gasoline than people that drive more fuel efficient vehicles. Their disregard for conservation drives up demand, which drives up the cost of gas for the rest of us that don't feel the need to drive around in a fucking army tank than can't fit into most parking lots.

I recently had to sit next to a 400lb man (bitch seat I might add) on a flight from Phoenix to Tampa, and while I was extremely uncomfortable because I had a bodybuilder sitting to my right, I never once thought that he should pay more for a ticket than me.

Fuck the airlines, their business decisions are the reason why they are always on the verge of bankruptcy. Don't forget these are the same people that now charge for luggage, took TV monitors off to reduce the coefficient of drag, ect.

Of course. But the cost their overconsumption is passed on to the rest of us at the pump with a higher cost per gallon. The "obesity" of these tanks should have a direct punitive cost associated with it that is not felt by the drivers that are more "fit". Not saying that I agree with it, but targeting overweight people is just wrong, especially for an industry that always seems to be behind the eight ball when it comes to PR. Bigger seats is what they need. It is hard enough for average people to ride on these cattle cars.

If they made every seat twice as large to accommodate the biggest customers, they would only have half as many passengers on each flight and have to charge everyone double rates. So really you should look at it as a discount for people who choose to one small seat rather than an extra charge on people who need a large seat

Fat people need to make reasonable accomodations to fit their girth. ie buy bigger clothes, bigger cars, and either pay for upgraded seats or two regular coach seats if need be. It sucks to see that one fat bastard walking down the aisle right at the seat next to you.
