As mentioned in the other related thread Mayorga is a "pega de chorizo", (let's see if Bdzzl knows the meaning of this, or someone will have a blast explaining that to you) and I personally enjoyed watching that, but I have to admit that when I read what he said after the fight I was laughing so hard!,

Technically in English grammar we would say "NYFB" to imply "None of Your Fucking Business"

If I was incorrect then The "United States of America" would be "USOA". The reason "LOL" has the "O" in the acronym is because it is not the word "of" it is the word "out".

Prepositions, Adverbs, interjections, adjectives, verbs, nouns, etc will be taught in next weeks forum.

I am not offended by your laughing. I encourage it. I would much rather have humor and the butt of jokes be made at my own expense than at the expense of others as I have a pretty good sense of humor. You see the problem is Costa Rica uses different Dichos as does all the other 20+ Spanish speaking countries. I understand more of a Mexican dialect and am slowly learning the Costa Rican versions I think it was only last October when I learned the word "Pichasos" in a sentence from my buddy, "Neccesita pegarse sus pichasos". In Mexico they use "putasos".

My brother speaks FLUENTLY castellano Spanish. I guarantee he probably knows what Aleph is saying but it isn't used in Spain the way Costa Ricans use it.

Pegar means to "beat". Chorizo is "sausage" so I figured from the Mexican term chorizo is used, he meant "dick". After looking at the context the English translation sounds like he was saying, "He was beat like a pulp". But I dunno, I have never heard that term used before.

I am sure I could really stump Shock with various dialects of English myself, afterall in the states we have 50 states with different variants. One of them that I had to teach "La Putica" (You know who I am talking about BigDane) was the term, "Is the Coast Clear?". I had to teach her that one over chat and I tell you it took like 10 minutes! Some others are "Run hard and put to bed wet", "In like a lion, out like a lamb", "Can I have a sip of your pop" etc. And that isn't even including the various "Pachuco" equivalents and street slang.

But I can now see what may be funny for shock as I completely blew the context. I think there are 3 Ticos here who I am truly jealous how well they speak English.. 1. Derek12 2. WolfieCR 3. Venus My goal is to speak Spanish as well as they do English.

BTW - I called the upset against Texas in the TX vs Minnesota game! whoo hoo!

Yeah you are right, I cant comment on Derek and Wolfie but im sure their english is perfect. Venus hers is amazing, I speak Spanglish bro:finger:
