college basketball is so unimpressive. they are running motion offense which is used in grade school. sometimes they use it against the zone which doesnt even make sense. no one ever plays inside out. no one ever runs the fast break off of long misses. i dont understand the point of this sport
its so frustrating to watch. everyone dribbles with their heads down they are constantly dribbling between their legs and behind their backs with no purpose off of pick and rolls and screens. they are all scared to make mistakes so you rarely see solid entry passes. sometimes u just give the ball to the man with the mismatch and step back and let him work. that never happens in this rediculous system
Couldn't agree more nba! These college coaches try to micro manage every single possession. It's ridiculous. There are no run-outs and pressing to create easy transition buckets. It's walk the ball up the court, let the coach micromanage, pass the ball around for 30 seconds or just dribble and then jack up threes by guys that shoot 28%. Harder and harder to watch. I'm a Clemson grad and fan. We have a good coach in Brownell but he is as guilty of this style as anyone. A few years ago when Purnell was here, we pressed and ran up and down and actually competed with Duke and UNC based on the style and creating easy baskets. We had and have the exact same type of 2-3 star players with one 4 star maybe in each class but the basketball now is close to unwatchable.
I dont really watch much except the big weekend games. Some of the mid week games look like high school games. I have more interest once the tourney starts strictly on a gambling standpoint. Really enjoy the nhl these days. Exciting games, not alot of ref interference, and the players arent spoiled ass millionaires.
Way too many egos for it to be a gambling sport IMHO, really. It is NOT a team sport, although I will say this, for once in a half century, the Atlanta Hawks are proving the NBA can be a team sport. Other than that, shit, you want to play a game, ya gotta bet on one or two players, and if they didn't get laid the night before, which we don't know whether it happened or it didn't, it screws ya. I only tease the playoffs, they have something to play for then. GLTA, I'm outta here until the am, but I'll have the HU running before noon.
