UNBELIEVABLE MY LUCK!

One of the biggest Steeler fans known to mankind frequents my local watering hole.

Six games ago, I bet him a lousy $100 that the Steelers would not cover against the Dolphins.

I lost

Each week thereafter, I have gone double or nothing with him betting against the STEELERS and lost everytime!

100-200-400-800-1600-3200

I owe this dude $3200 smackers from what started out as a fun $100 bet between friends.

I am afraid he will not want to double up in one of the next upcoming weeks and will want to settle.

I could potentially lose 6400 or 12800 at this pace............who knows, maybe more.

I am in a real major league sweat with this debacle!

Welcome to my nightmares.

Thinking of just paying the guy off this week and ending this misery.

$3200 I can stomach, but $12,800 or more would be a severe blow to my psychological well-being.

Fish, is this guy a gambler? If not, of course you may just luck up and have been sweating it for nothing if he is just thinking this is all for fun. If not though, I hate to say this, but if I were him, I'd have to go ahead and collect.......

What was it you told Mr jones earlier , something about 'its only money'...

Sounds lik he's not serious about collecting if he keeps letting it ride....

What's 12 dimes to you though, thats a drop in your fish bucket.

1. He is not a gambler

2. He is taking this seriously, as he should be.

lmmfao, "double let down situation"...........you are right though Fish it is a letdown scenario, however if I were in you're shoes I would heede the advice given. If he's not a gambler he will surely take 1 or 2k and be a happy campa!!!

You know exactly what will happen, if you pay him now the steelers will lose next week, if you double down it'll be their biggest loss this year..lol

Two Friends ( REALLY FRIENDS ) will continue until Steelers do not cover so to get level and make that like it started that's a fun joke.

Actually, no Fishhead isn't lying....

And he now owes me $6400.... (Steelers EASILY cover 4 points vs. Brown)

Like shooting Fish in a barrel ( pardon the pun )...

Friendly bet, yes...serious bet....yes. Does he have to pay? Absolutely.

I should point out...he insisted I bet in the first place...

He insisted that I ride through 2 weeks of previously unbeaten teams (NE and PHI).

He insisted I ride through playing our mortal enemy (the Browns) on their turf.

GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, we are now talking serious money. I think its time to call this thing.

Can't we ALL just get along?!!

Mods I think we've gone over our quota of Peeler fans. I feel the persecution all the way on the good side of the state. :coffeetim

Fish, on second thought.......find a new wateringhole or put half of the $3.2K on Bengals ML next week, and make a little for yourself.

I will be at the game next week.:105317756
