Is it true that the "new" Iraqi "constitution" is less democratic than their constitution during Saddams' regime?

If so, what is going to be our new excuse for being and staying in Iraq?

It appears you may have missed it, but our newest excuse for staying over there is that, since so many of our boys have already been killed and maimed in Iraq, we must stay there or their deaths will have been in vain. We'll call it the "Anti-Sheehan Justification".

Practicality says you are there for a worthwhile cause and the goal is attainable.....If neither one of those factors are present then you can't justify dead soldiers regardless what the body count is.

You have to consider this first and foremost....What use is a constitution if you lack the ability to enforce the rules in it?

What good is a constitution that pretty much breaks the nation into two autonomous groups that both intend to operate independently of each other?

What good is a bunch laws going to do, when the richest but smallest group of the country has been left out and do not even consider the constitution valid???


Is there any one out there that thinks that when those Mullahs and Ayatollahs inspired by their Iranian brothers strike down laws, that some upright Iraqi lawyers will even dare challenge them in the Iraqi supreme court!!!!:lolBIG: (that really cracks me up )
