or

use the Birthday system for a ticket. I've done it at harness tracks and the #'s would come the day I wasn't there. I won't be there today so it's 614/127

jefo capping horses is by far the MOST difficult of any capping endeavor, so Just to make life easy those are the numbers I use, reason for staying off of anything higher than 6, well many times youll see an outside horse (or dog) get pushed out, and it just makes it a bit more difficult for em to make it up,,

and I guess I just like 1-5 as my fav numbers, soooo,, if you show up at a track and drop 200 or so on those exacta boxes, now youve got a couple hours of easy eating drinking, no RUSHING to the indow only to get pissed off cuz some fk is cashing tickets with 1 minute to post,

and hey, it only takes a couple wins to take you even, sometimes I will throw a dollar trifecta box on those same numbers.

you never know,,,

I see that you are using the value line's best bets.
I'm not an expert, but I'll post my thoughts.

GP R.6 H.3 TIGER'S FROLIC
Should be able to win 1st off the claim. The only problem that I see is 53 days off for a horse that has always run with about 20 days between races. The main competition will come from #6 Greedy Debby, 2nd off a layoff for top sprint trainer Wesley Ward.

SA R.2 H.5 LADY LUMBERJACK
Too many 1st timers in the race for me. #4 White Lamb has Garrett Gomez and Eoin Harty on her side. Your guess is as good as mine.

GP R.8 H.4 RUBY'S RED SOCKS
Class & Speed tower over the rest of the field. Kirk Ziadie & Jose Lezcano are a trainer & jockey combo that are hard to beat. The main competition will come from #6 Death Valley & #8 Chasing the Prize, both like to finish in the money.

OP R.6 H.3 POINT MADE
A really bad bunch of horses. Point Made might get passed in the stretch by #1 Goins to Town After getting softened up by #2 Crafty Earl. Then again it is Oaklawn and the speed usually holds pretty good.

SA R.5 H.3 ROGUE SCHOLAR
Gets my favorite jockey, Joel Rosario in a race with many horses with an excuse to win. The main competition will be #12 Cointreau come back from almost a year off with superior speed numbers & #8 Backus is 2nd off the layoff & dropping to lowest level of his career.

GG R.9 H.1 NATPOLEAN
Russell Baze is riding #2 Nail Polish. One of the 2 should win.

Good Luck

I'll probably get them all wrong@)

Yes, I handicap & play every day, and I do post & recap my picks in the best bets thread. I just don't explain them. I don't like typing.

Just one question....

How do you handicap the horse that won this race?

Santa Anita Park on Feb 22 2009 <TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD><TABLE><TBODY><TR bgColor=#000066><TD colSpan=7>Race 5 7F Dirt

The only way I see anyone using this horse was if your Birthday was on the 13th and you played 1/3 exacta in every race or if by chance you went to the window to bet the 6th race and the clerk thought you said 5th :think2: or you did say 5th because you thought it was the 6th! If the latter happened, you'd never know since you thru the $600 ticket in the garbage :ohno:

My point is: sure you can handicap but the odds of having a ticket like the above are slim.

Welcome and good luck, Today all but 1 of those listed hit the board and I hope you went at least $1 exacta-box on 3 and all in the 5th @ SA :toast:
