Agreed.. urban is a great coach, but he's not playing. Clemson has a bad habit of letting teams hang around but unless Watson doesn't show up or gets injured, Clemson has the better overall team and THEE Ohio State will fall short IMO. Think this line is 6 points off

michigan lost 3 out of last 4? michigan compiled gaudy stats agst a garbage schedule..they won a single game outside their state this year..they played 2 good teams and 2 decent teams and won once..michigan doesnt help your argument gas///

Anyone remember what Urbana D did to that high powered Ohio State O in 2006? 41-14 with Chris freaking Leak! Line should probably be around PK or Clemson slight fave but public perception and tOSU is a public bet as well as giving Urban points is not something the books want to do. Urban may not be out there on the field but he gets his guys prepared like no one else. The only way I see my team winning is if the Def can score some points, if they get Samuel involved more and they give Prince some blocking help. JT can't hold onto the ball as long as he has been either. They don't correct that stuff, they don't win. Clemson for sure has the experience and may be the "all around" better team but Clemson turns it over and our D creates TO's. That will be the big difference. If Clemson doesn't turn it over it may be a long day for OSU. Btw, Urban is 10-2 in bowls.
I do. I remember Ginn breaking his foot first play of the game and Troy Smith looking like he ate his Heisman. Urban at his finest, us against the world. Clemson is second in sacks, going up against an average o line. JT hasn t looked good the entire year, though I don t think the clemson back 7 is anything to write home about.
But like you alluded to, if Watson turns the ball over, osu wins. If he takes care of it, i see few scenarios OSU advances.
completely valid arguments for tOSU.. I know Urb is a great coach and Clemson let's teams hang around. I think that's partially why the line is such.. it's also due to those trends above and tOSU popularity. the biggest thing Clemson has going for them is Watson. His play will decide this one.. but after watching him put 40 points on "the greatest college defense ever" in Alabama last season he's hard to go against. I took Clemson at 3 and ML because I truly believe the wrong team is favored. I'm expecting a tight, hard fought game. GLTA :toast:
