Yankees won`t win the A.L. East....Currently a 4.5 game lead.....I say the Jays or Orioles will catch them if not both.....Time will tell.

Still have 12 games left with the Blue Jays.....And 6 with the Orioles.

I have a strong feeling I will be bumping this thread in a few weeks or so.

Toronto the sexy pick now with the trade deadline deals.
I will say one thing though , if the Yanks keep throwing CC out there every fifth day for the sole reason of the money he's making and wasting Warren in the bullpen, that could be the decision that costs them the division.

Yankees have to be praying that Severino can step in and win a few games. Their starting rotation sucks, and at some point their offense will hit a cold spell.

Is any part of this an anti-the other NY team thing?

Not at all......12 games left against the Jays is the key......Jays are much better in my opinion.

if Toronto continues to get strong bullpen play they will be very tough to beat. That offense is silly...578 runs ytd? WTF. 50 runs more than any other team...dagone...

They're certainly on the ropes. They had a nice little brief SPURT there, high scoring mini-run then The Jays showed up and tonight they struggle through 14 innings to lose to The Indians at Home. Something few teams have been able to accomplish this season. Sticking of a Fork might be premature but they're wobbled right now.

Guy can't win shit

Severino will try to get his first win as a starting pitcher since beating the Chicago White Sox on Sept. 27, 2015. Since then, he has gone 0-8 with a 7.84 ERA in 13 starts with New York.

Severino made his season debut Friday in Baltimore and did not get a decision after allowing four runs and six hits in five innings. Severino held a 5-1 lead but gave up a three-run home run to Manny Machado, and the Yankees lost 6-5.
