I like this team to win the nba 2005 championship

I like the The Houston Rockets, I think the key is jeff van gundy's defenceive philosphy. If this team plays good defence they could win it all. Yes i think they can beat San Antonio, the reason for this is i think Yao Ming can keep duncan in check, and they have the best go to guy in the league in Tracey Magrady. The only team i would worry about is when they meet the heat in the finals. I checked around and WWTS has them at $4000 and olympic has them at $2550.some books don't even have the NBA chapionship odds, does anyone agree and where do i find the best line for this, i am talking about a $500 hundred dollar bet which can bring me back $12,000-20,000 cash so i want to be careful before i put this in. :toast:

Ironically....I just hit the Rockets to win it all today at WSEX. They have interactive futures. A "share" pays $100 if the team wins it all. $50 if they make the finals and $25 if they make the conference finals.

I have Houston as the #2 team in the NBA (behind Miami) in the power rankings I use to cap my games. I know that sounds bizarre....but the numbers be what the numbers be !! The shares were selling fro 7 this morning.....but (sorry about this) I drove them up to 10 by buying 66 of them. That is a drawback....they change the price after 25 or so shares are purchased.

They do have them in a straight future at 35-1.

Intuitively I would say the Rockets have no shot....but I do respect my own numbers and the numbers say they have a great shot.

So.....hopefully we will "see" each other late in the playoffs...with the Rockets still in it. Other than my hopeless loyalty for the Lakers....I will definately be rooting for them.

Zap check out what they did too the suns, they out scored them 41-17 in the fourth period. On there home court, i know its one game, but this team is getting stronger and at this price it is worth a shot, i will propably put it in with a local. Do you think i can trust collecting 15 large form an offsore book, i will look into the share's at wsex, but i would be a little nervous about anything over 10 grand as much as i like netteller, can i trust it.
