PAC 12 ball is bad, not sure UW is even a top 10 team.

Alabama is nothing more than men playing with boys ! No one will stay on the field with them this year. Tonight situationally might have been there tuffest spot.

Kirby Smart is horrible, that was as ugly as ugly is. The guy might be the most overrated coach ever. It's amazing how much better Alabama got defensively w/o him. Heard a Bama kid talk this morning how when Smart was there everything was vanilla and plain, not many changes just always sat in base defense ( which I said for years) .. he said they are now coached much differently and in attack mode all the time..

UGA fans have my sympathy..

kid you talked to must have been in special ed...we won 4 titles in 7 years with him running the defense

biggest difference was put in place 2 years ago, with Smart still in charge, which was to drastically decrease the weight and increase the speed of defensive recruits and personnel.

not saying Smart will be some great HC but you can't judge a guy 1 year into his first season. If that was the case Saban would have been fired after losing to UL Monroe in his first season at Bama.

Smart led the greatest college defense I have ever seen...2011. this year's isn't too shabby but long way to go

tide what is the makeup of this years defense class wise? freshman, sophmores, juniors and seniors? I have listened to so many on the radio talk about how bad that game was and I thought are people this dumb? That was a smash mouth game, the way football was meant to be played. LSU is loaded with talent, they just have internal coaching issues that need fixed. That Bama defense was as dominant as I have seen in a long time.

Even heard some crack pot on Paul Finebaum talk about how michigan matches up with Bama and would destroy them.. i honestly laughed. Michigan does not have half the horses LSU has and would be a perfect matchup for bama. They would beat Michigan as bad as they beat Michigan State last year. You dont beat Alabama playing Alabama football, you do it how ohio state did and how clemson made it close. You have to spread them out and hope to get lucky. I still have concerns with the Bama offense but thats what you get with a freshman QB I think, some growing pains.

All I can say is it must be enjoyable to be an Alabama fan :) nothing but respect for that team. I think there are only 2 teams that can make a run at them....and neither can beat them.

I'm not just saying this as a big Bama fan, but Bama could be even better next year.
Offensively they will lose OJ Howard ....that's it. I believe Cam Robinson will come back. The
true freshmen RT has outplayed him all year. Defensively they will lose Eddie Jackson, Tomlison, Allen and
anderson, Williams and Foster I believe....all very good players....probably all 1st/2nd rounders...but it's amazing how many freshmen and sophomores play key backup roles on defense. All secondary back with exception of Jackson....Humphrey is eligible for draft though.
The 6 number 1 recruiting classes is obvious now. #1 RB and #1 LB in nation are committed for next year. #1 and #2 LB's in last years class will be starters next year.

You're right, it really is great to be a Bama fan right now.
We are very fortunate to have Saban. He is worth every bit of the money the Univ is paying him. You are also right,
i think two teams could beat them....Clemson and Ohio state.....because of their qb play and they have defenses that could slow Bama
down. I struggled through the Dubose / Shula years so I'm not taking this dynasty run for granted at all.

I think so many people outside of sec hate Bama because of their success but will one day look back and say WoW. Saban is worth every penny they pay him and probably more for what he has done to the brand. I dont know that Clemson or Ohio State can beat them, but I think those are the only two built to have a chance. I cant speak for Clemson as I dont follow them but they seem to turn the ball over a lot which would be disasters against Alabama. I think with what we saw Watson do last year he is capable of putting up points. My gut/brain tell me Ohio State would not beat Alabama. While they posses the athletes and offensive schemes to spread out the Bama defense which is the only chance you have, they are to young to win a game like this. There are just to many freshman on the field which equates to mistakes such as running routes, coverages, blocking, etc. You have to play a perfect game to beat Bama and just cant see anyone doing it unless they play a perfect game and Bama makes some mistakes.

I truly think most dont realize what is happening in Alabama in the big picture. While most wont like this the SEC is still king top to bottom, some conferences might be better at the top but I challenge anyone to show me on paper a conference with more quality players. They are doing this against the best of the best. There will always be close games and close calls, it is how the game is with the mental lapses of 18-19 year old kids, but they continue to over come all the odds and laws of average for a reason, they are that good.

I just feel bad for the guy who replaces Saban as it will be a no win situation....simply put Alabama has become a machine.

Beside Bama...I'd take Huskies against any of the top teams in big 10, including Clemson which is one of my favorites. Wash will surprise lots of people. But of course they have to make it to the big dance first.

I try not to engage Buckeye fans. As any Big Ten fan will tell you, they are dumb and obnoxious. 1osubucks is no exception. To say that Michigan has half the horses as LSU, truly shows his lack of football knowledge. Michigan is loaded with NFL talent on both sides of the ball. They have two NFL receivers in Darboh and Chesson and possibly the top TE in the country. Their entire offensive line will be play in the NFL. They are loaded at RB and some say Wilton Speight at QB should be getting some Heisman talk....his numbers are off the chain. The defense has three potential first round draft picks this year in lewis,Wormley and Peppers. The defense is also loaded with NFL talent...Hurst, Mone, Charlton, Gary, Godin, Glasgow and more. Michigan will probably have more NFL draft picks than any team this year, including bama. They also have the best coaching staff. Much like the majority of Buckeye fans you will find, 1Osubucks is a blow hearted idiot.

Who is the blow hearted idiot? I think that would be you Homer ...crawl back in your hole and please shut up. Michigan hasn't won a meaningful game in 20 years and screwballs like you keep trying to convince the rest of us something had changed.

Win in a meaningful game, play some real out of conference competition them come back to the table. Until then you should try a little better to hide your ignorance..

Well at least your teams will play each other to settle things.

Pac 12 is fun to watch.

Bama is on a whole other level right now. Anything can happen in playoffs though.
