the pack have lost twice at home already this year to va tech and unc, they gave the game away against the hokies and just didnt show up for the heels game. They will be ready tonight in the primetime spotlight needing a big home win coming off a win at georgiatech last thursday this team will be up for tonights game and ready to play while clemson has lost 3 in a row and will not be playing with the same confidence they had early in the season. I have no doubt the wolfpack win this game tonight and 4 is a fairly small number so I am laying the 4 and taking my chances.

NC State head coach Chuck Amato is like the circus all by himself... he dresses like a clown and keeps his job with the illusions of a magician. The Wolfpack should have been beaten last Thursday by Georgia Tech, but were spared the loss because of bad play calling by Tech's awful head coach Chan Gailey. Amato has coached his Wolfpack to eight straight ATS (against the spread) losses in Raleigh, including five of the last six being SU (straight-up) losses. If this team is laying 2 or more points in ACC games, they have lost 12 in a row ATS and 7 in a row SU. NC State has a lousy 6-15 ATS record the last 21 regular season lined games and in ACC conference play, the Wolfpack are on a 5-14 ATS run at home!


Clemson, on the other hand, is 17-7 SU in this series (known as the Textile Bowl). The visiting team is 6-2 ATS the last eight played. Also note the Tigers have had five extra days to prepare for this game. They should have no problem putting plenty of points on the board against an NC State defense that allowed 443 yards to Georgia Tech last Thursday night. So far this season, Clemson has faced three Top 25 teams in its first five games en route to a 2-3 SU record. Note that all five of those games have been decided by seven points or less and two of the losses were in OT. Finally, off three or more straight up losses, the Tigers are a very profitable 6-1 ATS.
