I attribute my miserable start to "reading too much". Since I can't start with results and observations (very key ingredients for me), I' m using research more. Looking at verious power ratings sources to see if there's any consistency in pointing out what may be a bad line (batting ofer fwiw), reading about key players returning, key players lost, style of play, coaching yada yada yada, whatever I can find to try and become more informed.
Well, that hasn't worked very well. Here I am spending more time to become informed and losing, that sucks, that's a lose lose
So, back to what has worked for me in the past
pick teams I lean towards, research them only, see if a forum member as some valuable insight on one of the games, weed games out, see if there's 85% action one way or another which may change my mind, and top it off with good ole fashion intuition. Still don't have much observation to go on, but I'm not starting where some third party has led me. That fucking sucked
and still playing small until we can figure things out

you're way too good for that it's just a small sample size. you'll be above .500 before you know it
