that yesterday the Ny Knicks shoot 39% from the field, and 67% from the foul line en route to scoring 79 pts. They looked absoulutly pathetic in the process.

today, they score 113, shoot 58% and 80% from the stripe

what's odd you ask? well, yesterday for each pt a player scored, that player was to donate $1,000 to the tsunami relief fund.

yesterday marbury 7 pts, today 20..houston 9pts and today 25

I know teams and players bounce back all the time in the NBA. I just thought i"d point out the odditity here in this one. It just got me thinking a little.

its very simple why this happened

yesterday they played a top team in the east on the road, today they played a bottom team from the west at home

its that simple

Do you really think these guys making around $10 mil a year care about saving themselves 15 dimes? Its a needed tax writeoff anyways.

NY Knicks

That is the story of a jump shooting team. When they are on, they are unbeatable. But those days are few and far between for teams that rely on perimeter shooters.

They would win a lot of games if Houston and Marbury would combine for 70% shooting from the floor (14-for-20 tonight) and 100% from the line (13-for-13 tonight).

Throw in Crawford when he gets back, and this team has the worst shot selection of any team in the NBA besides Atlanta. It is rare when the 3 of them will all be on in the same night...but when they are, they score in bundles. I remember the other night when they scored over 50 in a quarter if I am not mistaken.

Liked I said I just found it odd. I wouldn't think with those salaries and the tax advantage there would be a problem. I was just thinking out loud that's all.

You're right...

It was not as high as I thought...but it was nuts:

41 point 2nd quarter
71 point 1st half
