Donald Trump said Tuesday that he has no second thoughts about the way he pushed back against attacks from the parents of a slain Muslim soldier during the past five days.
'I don't regret anything,' he told WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.
'I said nice things about the son, and I feel that very strongly,' he said, referring to a statement he issued calling the late U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan a 'hero.'
'But of course I was hit very hard from the stage, and you know, it’s just one of those things. But, no, I don’t regret anything.'
