WTF.. what is wrong with this team?
I'm a long time fan of the Big East (and Syracuse), and this Pitt team strikes me as a typical model team for this league. Brilliant some nights, just down right bad on others.
Personally, I like them, and I can see them making a run. In fact, I can see any of the Big East teams making a run (BC, Cuse, UConn, Nova, Pitt). All of these teams are legitimate contenders to make it to the Sweet 16. Or, they could all tank in the first and second rounds.
Overall, though, I think Pitt has got the pieces.

No matter what, I would go with ODU, then maybe Shrink would take this curse off of me that has followed me around since the Hofstra game. Don't get me wrong Dante I like Pittsburgh, too but from now on I am drinking the ODU kool-aide.:drink:

The Big East is going to get 6 or 7 teams into the Dance and if they are lucky maybe one into the Elite 8. I think none match up well to quality opposition. Notice all these weird results are happening against each other. Signs of teams that don't play 40 minute games and that gets you bounced early in the Big Dance.
