atlanta +7 and half a unit on the MONEYLINE

cleveland is still figuring out how to play together, their transition defense is horrible right now.

0-3 and a 7 point road favorite? no way.

does seem like a lot of points, but i would have a hard time pulling the trigger on a huge play with kevin willis as my center.

my grandfather was the ballboy when willis played at michigan state.

good luck

Actually, Atlanta has been pretty much horrible this entire season. In addition, Cleveland might be a popular play due to LJ. The line is about right.

I am on Atlanta as well.

Atlanta cost me the over of the game and also had them +7. What a joke. They suck and I will never bet on them again.

He posted it, just mentioned the time zone angle today, after someone else pointed it out in his thread. I believe the Hawks lost because they are not very talented, have a totally new roster, and no fan support. The time zone angle is is a sidebar. I will check if there was a partial lunar eclipse. Or sun spots. This Hawk team will lose crossing no time zones. Because of fundamentals, not some travel angle. Nope, I ain't buying that.

Either way, great call Fish.

Noreiga, get a new avatar. Like it or not Bush won. Hate to look at him in this forum if I do not have to. You are obviously entitled to red line him with freedom of expression. But the election is over, and even if some perceive it as disrespectful, that is not my problem. How about the Hawk's team logo. Triple size it!!!

Actually traveling long distance from west to east does affect you but I agree the hawks are not very good. Still the travel and another which you mentioned, the fan support made it and easy bet for cleveland. I call it terrible tuedays. Teams playing in Tuesday who are struggling and have a mediocre fan support will lose against the spread on Tuesdays. Tuesday is the worst day for attendance in the NBA and it's much worse for these poor team . Which means home court disadvantage. There were 3 teams that fit that bill last night. The hornets, Chicago and the Hawks. All 3 lost soundly against the spread. Terrible tuesdays. Look for it next week.

I like that one OMR. Terrible teams with no fan support. Was a brutal bad play on my part, next time I will be on the other side of the Hawks. I think, beyond the time zone, and the Tuesday, they are a very bad team. They pretend to have an NBA team, but they really have a bench team. The fans see this, and will not support this pretend team. I do not care if they have traveled a million time zones, and play Sat night. The fans still do not show, and really do not get vocal or supports these stiffs. The zebras look around, and help the other team, who cares? There is a distinct home field advantage in the NBA, but all of the courts, boards and rims are the same. The Hawks do not have it. Their team song should be George Benson's Masquerade. They look more CBA than NBA to me.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:
