I actually think Mizzou has a chance to beat OU straight up

Mizzou's season was horrible this year. Yes they play like Oklahoma State and they were horrible against OSU and Texas. But this game, it seems like they get no respect at all. Sure they are one of the worst pass coverage teams in football but OU's defense is not that good either. It seems like OU will just destroy Mizzou easily but Chase remembers what happened last year when they were number 1 and got blown out by the sooners in the title game.

No one likes Mizzou and well they shouldn't. But Mizzou are 17 point underdogs and that is a lot of points to be laying for this sooner team since this game is played at Arrowhead in KC which is near Missouri. OU will score but I think Mizzou will have their way with OU's secondary.

I see this game something along the lines of Mizzou 38 and OU 33.

I am not one who thinks upsets can't or won't happen, but Mizzou is barely the 5th best team in the Big 12. With the exception of the UT game, OU hasn't had another game within 14 points. I don't think the Defense is in place for the upset to occur. Also, Coffman hurting does not help Mizzou and the oline has been bad lately.

I'm as big a dog player as you'll find for these type of games, but I don't think Mizzu can win this game. I'm not even taking the points, leaning OK or pass for me.

Victory for Mizzou?

I don't think Mizzou will win, but I do know the following.

1. They are playing in KC, pretty much a home game for Mizzou

2. Bradford has a broken hand, even though it isn't his throwing hand, it
could have an effect on his rushing.


3. Being from Austin, know that Colt and Chase are friends. Heard through
a pretty good source that they have been talking about OU.

Anyways, not saying that OU will lose, but I might take Mizzou +17

I don't think they will win, but they CAN win. Mizzou hasn't played well all year really, at least since they lost to Ok St. This team is capable of playing much better, and IMO they have the intangible advantages...playing in KC, playing at Arrowhead for the 2nd week in a row, having nothing to lose, no pressure, etc.

Mizzou is getting no respect. To me, a bet on OU -17 is crazy. Yes, they could cover that. But this game will be competitive so Mizzou getting 17 is great value.

mizz will in no way shape or fashion come close to winning this game. i do however think there is a possibility of mizz covering spread due to the fact that ou doesn't need style points.
