How do you suppose he does this...with more spending? I love to get this ball rolling but something tells me your smart enough to not do so. :ohno:

Bush : Spending Liberal Tool

Obama : Liberal

Im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and hopefully he will balance a budget, but i would give you 10-1 odds he wont.

Initially there will certainly be more spending....idea is to reallocate on infrastructure (won't happen overnight though)....and they absolutely must cut wasteful spending. They have no choice and we'll see...

Fetch, don't forget to post your weekend picks in the Week 10 pundit thread dude.

I wont Cuss...

But "reallocate" What funds from where? In case you havent heard (and i know you have) All he is going to do is reallocate from one sand shit hole to another. Other then that we have ZERO money, so all he is going to be doing is reallocating more debt. I hate to sound like a fucking pessimistic prick (and i know i am) but how the fuck does that compute? The treasury is empty, we cant even balance a budget and are over budget 430 billion let alone fund any wars or bailout wall street. Obama is catching a falling knife and all he is going to do from what i have seen/heard, is fumble it into our spleen. I wish he could go Clintonian, but im affraid that playbook cant be used now, when your down 35-0 at half. Time for a Mike Leech playbook and neither party has the balls or knowhow to make it go.

If Obama balances the Federal budget with a two front war and an economic recession heading to depression, I will quit gambling on sports for the rest of my life! He would also get my vote next time around. Cutting federal spending is the key, but it's the most difficult politically.

regardless of what i feel we should do regarding this issue

based on where we stand

if we cut federal spending in our position with spending in the private sector crashing

you can pretty much guarantee a deflating depression 30s style

either way i think its unavoidable anyway cause these idiots will continue to spend money bailing out failing businesses rather than investing it in our future

and again this is assuming they keep faith in fiat money, the banks, the central banking system and such through it all

Much more likely Obama doesn't navigate this mine field very well ...especially if he relies on his radical leftist tendencies for economic policy.

Obama will then own it...because you aint seen nothin yet if he screws things up.

At worst...people will say...yeah Bush should have done this...or Bush did that.

But then Obama did this...and holy shit....Boom! Look what happened!
