I have sympathy for the families who lost loved ones in this week's flooding in Texas. But I could not help thinking that some of those very people being fished out of overflowing streams or rescued from their submerged cars.... and who will be BEGGING for federal aid next week.... were the same people who were telling us two years ago they would not pay to help the New Jersey shore after Hurricane Sandy.

1) Republicans proposed their own disaster relief bills for Sandy that only funded disaster relief. Harry Reid did what Harry Reid did best, the bills never saw the light of day and the liberal media did what they do best, they ignored the truth
2) all one needs to do to prove the GOP, specifically Cruz, is a hypocrite is to cite the unrelated pork spending Cruz proposes / supports in the TX flooding disaster relief bill. Nothing more, nothing less
