First off, I'm laying off the Bedlam game until it goes up over 14. I'd like to put some money on ou, thinking that SURELY this line will go up to 15 or so and I could lay big on osu and maybe win both, but I don't EVER want to be stuck with money on ou against my Cowboys!!!!!!! Maybe a decent idea for you though.

Here's my four gamer:

Mizzou -2.5
going into Nebraska, both teams coming off a loss, it's tough, but MU is the better team.

Kansas -4.5
ARE YOU KIDDING ME ON THIS ONE? Big, BIG play here!

Texas Tech plus 3. This one is the kicker. We'll see how KSU's defense handles the tech O, I think they win outright more times than not...

Texas -13.5 easy win here...EASY

Also playing Va Tech -4 and Purdue -9.5

I'll probably add a couple more if I break even or better with VT and Purdue.

If osu/ou goes over 14 I'm playing it as well.

Good luck guys.

Throw "your team" under the shortBus when it comes time to make a bet. "Your team" doesnt sign your paycheck (unless you work for the organization), they don't send you birthday or xmas presents, if your shortbus was broken down on Hwy177 and you were trying to thumb a ride, guess what, ol' Les Miles and his posse of Cowpokes would just pass you by, wonderin' who da fvck is that. If you gamble, quit rooting for "your team". They're a pack of shmeds who could careless about you and your bookie.

actually, you're wrong, but I get your point. I use the word "MY" because I'm an alumn, I donate, I have season tickets, i've talked to the coaches, I know some of the players, etc.

And I WOULD BET money, that if I was broken down in the middle of nowhere (talking outside of Oklahoma--middle of nowhere), and the team bus saw my osu posse sticker, my alumni sticker, and my osu car tag, they would stop and give me a ride. Maybe not most other schools, but this one, I think so...but I could be wrong.

Anyway, the point of my comments were about my hatred for OU and I didn't want to have to be rooting against my alma mater and for a bunch of low life piece of crap thugs from norman for a few measly dollars. It's probably a decent bet, but I won't make it, THAT was my point.

Thanks for the "life lesson" though. It benefited me out about as much as a kick in the balls...

I'm already down on Mizzou, Tech & Texas -- good to see you on those sides. Also played ISU undre 44 & Nebraska under 50 and am looking at UT to go over 50. Any thoughts on those totals?

I don't like totals....turnovers, overtime, etc..

Bus, A&M will probably cover at Baylor as well, but would not put that game in the parlay.

If it was less than 21 I'd play it, but 22...even against baylor, I can't do it.

I don't normally look at totals until the night before. I played 3 totals last week and lost all three. The way the big 12 has been =CRAZY=, I'm staying away from totals this week. The OU/KU total just killed me...killed me. I knew they were going to score at the end, especially after the article came out in the daily jokelahoman quoting Boob Stoops as saying they were going to basically start running it up a bit, but I still held out some hope.

Yea. That was terrible. I had KU +26 and was hanging on by 1 pt. When they passed on 1st down w/ 45 seconds left, I knew I was done. We both got screwed.

GL on your plays..:)

Seems like last several years the last week in October and first couple of weeks in Nov, a lot of undefeated teams go down, don't think Okyst ml for a ****&giggle is a bad bet. This Okla. team has been far from "great" the last couple of weeks. I had Okla last week and was extremely lucky to cover , only reason covered was interception by a lineman late.

Shortbus,

I can't wait for this weekend. Fowler, Corso, and Herbstreet in Stillwater. It'll be a sea of ORANGE! It'll be tough to start drinking at 8am, but I think I'll find a way:drink:

Good luck on your plays.

have fun boom boom. I'll be there as well. Heading down Friday night.

jw, what is the ml at? I don't see one yet. OSU has won 5 of 10 against ou and had a chance 4 years ago with two plays and the ball inside the ou 10 but incomplete passes trashed that chance.

OU has some weaknesses, especially losing 2 key defensive players in Dvoracek and Straight, and Straight's punt returning ability. They should have Pendleton back on the DLINE though.

If I knew OSU wouldn't fumble the ball or throw an int early in the game, I'd play the ml, and OSU for sure, but heck, if any of us could see that, we'd all be losing money wasting time posting on the net, like Bill Gates bending over to pick up a 20...

It should be a "fun" game. Hopefully, I won't pass out or have a heart attack before it's over.

FYI, Derrick Straight didn't return punts. Antonio Perkins did. He's still supposed to be out which is a plus for Oklahoma State. Hopefully Darrent Williams will be back this week. He should give us the special teams edge for sure. OU has struggled in the kicking game this year with several missed and blocked extra points and field goals.

The crowd will be electric and the longer this game stays close or if we get ahead the better chance we'll have.

I haven't seen a ML number yet and the only total I've seen is 50 1/2.

It hasn't come out yet but should be around +400.My big concern is no passing game for Oky ST, but they have improved a lot since the first couple of games stat. wise., the first couple of games they were like 2-8,3-8 something like that. Certainly don't think the cowboys will win, but like the #.

not so sure about texas tech...they looked small to me vs texas...and that running game dominated them....

they lost at new mexico, another ground oriented club....

kan. st put up almost 300 yards ruishing vs nebraska....controllled clock 38-22 minutes.....

will probably have both meier and runner webb available at qb....and sproles should have a field day.....

they may just keep that tx tech offense off the field...

something to consider...

I meant Perkins, don't know what I was thinking typing Strait.

I see your points on KSU's running game, and Tech's D being on the field. I thought about that, but I also think Tech's D is used to being on the field a lot. They spend a lot of time out there when Tech is scoring rapidly like they have done against weaker defenses.

The over in the KSU/TTech game is my POW. KSU's pass defense is below average, and TTech's defense isn't very good.
I disagree with TTech winning the game. I think TT showed their true colors against Texas, and KSU is playing better right now.
My 4 team parlay would be Mizzou, KSU over, KSU, and KU.
Good Luck
