I don't know how you do it, Ice. How do bet 67 games in a day and not be a nervous wreck? Talk about pressure.
Good luck to you and continued success.
who says I am not a nervous wreck, LOL.
I will say sometimes it does feel like too much. Some Saturdays feel overwhelming. I think the key is too be completley orgainized with your information and ready too go. I got a little screwed today as I was going to spend the day calculating my numbers just before the linesmaker posted his numbers, more or less staying a step ahead of him, as he has been posting them in intervals on saturdays this season, well that didnt happen, they posted them all at once two times throughtot the day after the intial morning games were posted. This more or less put me behind the eight ball all day as I felt like I was missing great opportunities at the open. Not sure if this effected me good or bad too much but I am extremely disciplined with making sure I only make plays if the bets falls in my parameters too pull the trigger and so a lot of stuff is half point here and there and I just wasnt on top of the things. It wont happen again, going forward I will spend all day friday getting ready.
I put around 17k into action which is about $250 a play. I do have a pushing point, everyone does, where I feel out of my element but my adivce is too underbet in proportion to your bankrool so you dont feel bad if and when you go into losing streaks throughout days like this because you will have many ups and down throughout a 67 game stretch. There were a few times throughout the day I felt frustrated and a little nervous when I got down a bit, not the most fun way too spend a saturday, LOL. But this is my big day so I know it isnt always going to be roses.
One thing i do not do is scoreboard watch at all. I have my sportsoptions account (it's a must I must add this time of the year too have this) setup so that the second a game hits halftime or ends it alert me and the score pops up and that I record it. Doing it any other way would drive me nuts. I spend most of the day calculating how I am doing so I always have a general idea. I like to play a game with myself where I will accept that I am going to have a losing day for example and i say too myself "okay lets see if we can get this thing down too $500 for the day or so, I will be happy with that". I never ever chase, never have. Just not that kind of person, I think the first thing I think of is the downside if I lose and accept it is just one day in a lng stretch of days.
