Howard Stern Crank Caller as "Steve Bartman" Fools ESPN Sportcenter Live on the Air

During Sportscenter Dan Patrick told the viewers he had Steve Bartman on the phone. After a couple of minutes of talking to him and showing the infamous foul ball over and over, Steve Bartman asked Dan, "Do you like Howard Stern's butt cheese"?. Dan Patrick responded by saying, "we've been had". It was hilarious! The voice of Bartman sounded a lot like Captain Janks, a sometime Howard Stern guest and King of Crank phone calls.

As soon as I heard his voice I was skeptical. Just did'nt match Bartmans face. ESPN producers must be some morons. That was funny as hell.

looked pissed when the caller made the Howard Stern remark. On the next call he double checked and asked if the caller was who he said he was. The whole thing was pretty funny. I hope some poor off screen assistant does'nt get fired.

It'll be played on Howard Stern's radio show. Probably Monday. I believe Stern does not do a live show on Fridays anymore.

Chuck, Actually it was played on the Howard sterns radio show today (friday). Man, Was it funny. Doesn't Captain Janks have anything better to do with his life, LOL.

Janks revealed today that Steve Bartman helped
him. Bartman is a big Stern fan. He gave Janks
key information to get through producer. I think it's great that Bartman helped pranked
Sportscenter.

I'm searching for this thread that mentioned a way to make whatever number you want come out on someones Caller I.D

Did an advance search on the word "Caller" for titles only and this thread was one of the results..

Never bothered to look at the date..
