It doesn't get in the way of family time. I normally handicap while the wife is asleep and just kind of watch games in the background or on my phone.


I would watch less sports thought if I didn't gamble

same thing, time commitments. even worse now with live betting where i might want to be home monitoring 4-5 soccer games at same time instead of out with friends or the wife.

The added income is nice and gambling does not take that much time. When certain gambling conditions line up... I hit it. And that is the only time I hit it. The key is to have the discipline to stay the course and not just bet to have some action going on for that day.

I would miss gambling. It is fun.

The 2 things I do most other than working is play golf and watch horse racing and betting is always involved when I do either one. I could still do both but would not be nearly as fun without the gambling part so id probably be miserable.
