I do pay an additional $100.00 per month to principal, so my mortgage term should be shortened to around 21 years!

32. primarily because i couldnt decide where i wanted to live.

currently trying to sell my 2nd house . paid 165,000 for it 3 years ago . will probably sell it for 365,000 .

I own a house back in IA..and I def. like renting my apt. in FL better...if something breaks I call someone...I dont pay taxes....i mean its great! I can't wait to SELL my house back in IA!

In my case I still owe a healthy sum on my home. My goal was to be a homeowner by 25, but it was not until I was 29, so I was a little behind as usual on personal goals.

try owning one around here

370k and up for a real cheap one and 9k+ a year in taxes and I live in just an average area

I hear ya JJ.

Live right near Great Adventure, Six Flags. I cant afford to buy my home now.

Houses are worth $500,000 for an average resale and way up from there.
Mine is now up over a mil. Crazy!!

Starting to buy real estate in Florida and rental properties in areas not yet exploded.
