OK,,,, heres the question,,, I know Many Sharps,, the majority will Hit the lines SMALL on Monday,,,, then WAIT till the last 20 minutes before those games,,, and otheres,,,, then HIT them LG if the STEAM is following their picks,,,

How many here think a LG majority of SHARP money GETS LAID in the last 10 minutes before kickoff???

Personally, I think that the pros know what # they are looking for and will react accordingly depending on whether or not the # moves towards or away from it.

Not exactly the most complex theory in the game(lol), but it's not like a lot of lines retract after starting to move one direction.

Over the years have been very successful going against the late moves in the NFL. In fact, bet about 90% of my NFL plays with this strategy. Look to bet underdogs late at the VERY best possible number when John Q. Public is jacking up the favorites. Feel you will find success with this also if you add it to your arsenal. Good luck.

Never followed steam or line moves much, but I can make a suggestion. Take 5 Top books and write down the lines 1-2 hours before start times. Then write down the lines 4-5 mins before start. Keep a log and note what you see. One may be very surprised.

Used to be the direct opposite for about 20yrs.

Still though in any generic game, you can figure that chalk and over will get the money till the bell.

So in a very generic sense if like dogs and unders, you would be better served till wait, if chalk and over, should be betting into the openers.

are you saying that you follow last minute steam? or you Use Fish/Strut angle and Fade with NFL,,,

To be honest I have found with College the last 5-10 minutes to be crucial, especially with smaller games,,,

You should be finding your little college thing true in most sports these days.

Which of course is ironic, as the legend himself declared that sportsbetting is done, as the brainless sharps would rather bet into mini limits overnight, rather than wait for the clones to copy the weaker numbers on a more widespread basis, thereby allowing one to get down more $$$ on weak numbers.

Funny how the late action has been grabbing the money, so just how ironed out are those numbers that are being universally copied?

Tate in the old days the guys in the stardust lottery were the sharpest on earth, so you could win merely by looking at what they bet and taking a worse number early in the week.

The question of "How much WEIGHT can be Put into the lines move in the last 5 mins?" depends on variables, mainly such as "Whom, When, Where, Why, What(amount)".

Many pros shop & buy from the opening(not all early-capper's plays are for their own pocket), and have stakes to sides up and down the board by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, and have orders with movers by the same times, plus not all closing steam is steam, it often is buybacks, reverses, or mere number-buys.

The existing circumstances of particuliar games make the post-time changes different in value too..examples:if it is a game where the Books already have a sizable position against some or many of the sharps, if it is a key number situation, if it is a head-to-head syndicate battle game(ex:Wash vs Oreg St in '99?) it may come down to where the Books put more stock, injuries, etc..

Whom, When, Where, Why, and What(amount)..usually tell the tale.

Sodium,,,, on the weaker smaller schools,,, I have been finding some interesting trends in the last 5 mins,,,,, I will wait and can usually find a half point move on 1 or more of my 5 smaller school moves,,,, then watch to see the game unfold,,,, Very interesting numbers,,,,,
