How Much Longer Do We Have??

Thats the question I have, with so much going on today, it is unbelieveable that there are still sane people in the world, are we happy? are we just masking the true beliefs and feelings and fooling every one and ourselves?

The USA is at war or have tons of enemies with so many countries, this is what I can recall.

Cuba, colombia, iraq, iran, china, afghanistan, North Korea, and a couple others I cant remember or think of.

THen we have people who killings kids, themselves, etc.
We have kidnappers, thieves, rapist, arsoninst, crack heads.
We have women lying to men, men lying to women, women lying with women, men lying with men.

We have Aids thats rampant, we see friends family etc die everyday of cancer, accidents, murders, diabetes, etc, etc,e tc

We have commercials on TV that says we can cure your HEADACHE, buT the side effects are, vomitting, weightloss, hair loss, impotency, back ache etc, etc.

Man, with so much going on I wonder how much longer before everything just fall apart.

you can be sure of 2 things:

1) it is nearer today than it was yesterday
2) the death rate for humans still hovers around the 100% mark so, if it doesn't happen in your lifetime...your days will end at some point.

Despite what it seems an article in the New York Times pointed out there is less war and armed conflict now than at just about any time in recorded memory. Democracies just don't fight each other in wars much and democracy has spread significantly.

Add to it how people the world around are living longer. Standards of living and incomes are generally heading up in the majority of the world. Plagues and famines are relatively rare for now. Add it all up and I think you are just watching the media too much. Life is pretty good for most people worldwide at this time.
