I'm not talking units, im talking actual money. i usually bet 2 or 3 hundred a game but i will go as big as 500 and on rare occasions 1000. i was just wondering what stakes everyone else here is betting. im not sure if im betting more then most or less then most, my guess would be a little higher then most but still have some higher then me.
I am still a college student that does not have alot of extra cash right now. 1 UNIT for me = 5 bucks seriously.
Last night was a pretty big night for me as I had $65 dollars out spread between 6 bets. Sure enough I caught a split and got a return of about $60. That's the way it seems to go for me, so sorry no huge bets here.

$25 a game. Learned the hard way fifteen years ago in college. Full-time student and worked 40 hrs a week third shift at a shitty factory to pay off the man. Have not gone out of my means since. Did go crazy and bet $50 on OU last night! Eat with your gambling money but never gamble with your eating money.
good response so far, keep it up, i was really just more curious then anything because this subject is kinda taboo around here. i think people are being honest so far and i appreciate it
most people i know that bet on games are actually dishonest about wins losses amounts etc., but i think that since this is an internet forum and we actualyl dont know each other, we should be and can be honest here.
the most important thing is that you are betting within your means and not putting yourself in debt or bad situations, i have had a nice run playing poker and frankly have a nice amount of money set aside, but 2 years ago i was only betting 50 or 100 dollars a game and some people i knew were betting bigger bucks when they probably shouldnt have been.

My unit is $50. I normally have 1-2 $100 plays a night with the rest being $50. I never bet less than $50 and hardly ever bet more than $100. The two biggest bets of my life have been $300. Hit them both, but was so scared it was tough to enjoy the games. Tennessee +5 or +6 at Memphis last year and UNC at Duke last season. Don't remember the spread there.
