For me, 40 Years....well if you Count when I use to go to the Race Track with my dad...and I would say give me $2 on the Brown horse, Counts ??
then it's more like 47 years.
I was 14 when I would figure out which pointspreads in the newspaper were stale and try to bet $5 with they guys as school. Wish it was still that easy. So this year it has now crossed half my life
I have been gambling since the mid 60s. My first bet was for $5 on Mich St. against Notre Dame in that famous 10-10 tie back in 1965 or 66, I was in high school at the time but worked in a restaurant after school and bet one of the bartenders who was a big ND fan.
Since I was 13 years old. Started going to Vegas when I was 18 using a fake ID. Sports betting started in 2001. Never had a problem with it. Never lost more than $2000 in a year. I play for low limits as it is just something that I like to do for entertainment.
