Bosh, Ginobili are the big questions.... Are they HOF worthy. What about the rest of the guys?

Manu is an much a lock as Duncan or James

Bosh has about as much chance as me - a little about me - I'm OK in 3's or 4's as long as the defender is not too strong or 6-4 - otherwise I will post him up at will - but if we go full court my game is limited - so what do you think Bosh's chances are? allegedly he has a beautiful vagina

When they talk about Allen he never gets mentioned as one of the best 2G's - just as the best deep shooter - but I remember him from Seattle and he was a better player than Wade and Wade will never have his long career either

Manu a hall of famer? Have the hall of fame credentials gone down that much? The hall should be for the best of the best… not for solid players who found a good home.

Hall of fame is takes into consideration the international game, not just nba. Manu is a lock.

Manu deserves to be in from the standpoint of the caliber of player he is. He's just always been hurt so SA plays him less minutes and only really gives him big mins when it is absolutely needed. Kinda moot since the HOF is based on your entire career though (international, college) so he will get in anyway.

Parker probably doesn't deserve to be in but 10+ years on a perennial powerhouse like SA probably gets him in.

Bosh probably 50/50 to get in but it's possible if he can keep winning/contributing on a great team.

This is way down the line but if SA can transition out of the big 3/Pop era and still be good, then Kawhi Leonard could definitely get in 20 years from now.

Gag.

Manu is a lock, and he's not just a "solid player who found a good home." Go take a look at his basketball resume.

Ehhh if he gets in I'm not gonna be in Springfield picketing the event or anything, but I don't think he was ever a top 10 player in the league and greatly benefitted from everything he was surrounded by in SA (Pop, Manu, Duncan) He would kinda personify the whole "hall of very good" idea to me.

After the '03 finals SA was ready to deal him for Jason Kidd but Kidd chose to re-sign with the Nets instead. I feel pretty confident in saying if that deal gets made, Parker goes on to have a good career but is far less memorable. You can probably say that for most secondary parts on great teams though...

Yeah fuck it, he gets in I guess. I can't hate on him too much even though the deck was stacked in his favor to have a good career.

Pats, you make several very good points about Parker, but the trading him possibly is worthless, as Kobe was almost traded. How good and I know he was great, but how good would James worthy be without Magic and Kareem. Dumars without Isaiah and the pistons. I am not saying they don't benefit from others around them, but Parker may average more on other teams. Dude is so quick it is unreal.

Yeah if there was expansion in the 80s and you had Worthy on Minnesota and McHale on the Raptors, who knows how their careers are remembered. I don't think he is that caliber of player though.

The HOF is way too subjective anyway but I do think you should have to be top 10 at some point in your career to get in, unless you just have insane longevity like a Ray Allen.

Manu is in. You have to remember there is no "NBA HOF" it's just the Naismith Basketball HOF. His international accomplishments are part of the equation. Add his international and NBA careers and he is a definite HOFer in my opinion.
