The way the Big 10 is getting there head handed to them in the bowls, how good really was this win, and how good is IOWA?

many iowa stars in the league right now...some teams will get some decent value late out of some of these Iowans.

Iowa has one of the best Tight End in the NFL right now. Dallas Clark
Iowa has one of best Safety in NFL - Bob Sanders
Iowa has a top notch LineBacker in NFL - Chad Greenway
Iowa has a top notch kicker in the NFL - Nate Kaeding
Another safety that had a great rookie year starting in Carolina - Charles Godfrey.
A few starting offensive lineman and some pretty good defensive ends (Kampman right at top of league in sacks last year or two).

Iowa doing very well in the NFL. These 2 and 3 star players doing much better than these fast, athletic, 5 star can't missers. What a joke those rankings are most of the time.

Matt had a coming out year with the Dolphins and is one of the factors in the Dolphins winning the AFC EAST title.

ZERO.........in the first TWO rounds!!!

My vote was for "ONE, IF THEIR LUCKY".

I would have never guessed on zero for the first TWO rounds though..................wow.

Greene is going to be a nice pick-up for a team at this stage.

Greene should go in the 3rd round which is where i had him pegged, maybe late 2nd...Someone will get great value there. As will the same team that picks up Fletcher. The next two to get picked up on D will be Kroul and King and 2 more teams will get about twice the value as they would with a regular pick. As far as O-lineman....2 will make a team as you pointed out below...meaning...all 6 picks from Iowa will be straight bargains for whoever picks them up. If you can get any of the above as free agents, you are money! Iowa has about 7 starting OL in the league right now...prob 5 on Dline and 5 more as LB and DBs. Fletcher is gonna be a steal for someone just like the Panthers with Godfrey last year (although think he was 2nd rounder....believe Fletcher can provide same material)...stepped in as full time starter - game 1

<!-- end mod-article-title --> <!-- begin story body --> <!-- template inline -->NEW YORK -- The New York Jets began the second day of the NFL draft in much the same fashion they impacted the opening round the previous day.

<!-- INLINE MODULE -->
New York traded with Detroit to get the first spot of the third round Sunday to select Iowa running back Shonn Greene. On Saturday, they got Radio City Music Hall rocking when they moved up to get Southern California quarterback Mark Sanchez with the fifth overall pick. Greene was their first selection since taking Sanchez.
The Jets sent a third-rounder, a fourth-rounder and a seventh-rounder to the Lions.
Greene, an All-American, rushed for more than 100 yards in all 13 games last season, finishing with 1,850 yards and 20 touchdowns in his one season as a regular.
"I think they really believe in my talent and my potential to trade up and get me," Greene said. "I'm just going to work my hardest to satisfy ... and help the team win."
Greene said the Jets were the only team to work him out in Iowa City, "so I knew they were pretty interested. And I'm just excited right now that they picked me."
Chicago and Dallas finally made their first picks, in the 68th and 69th slots. The Bears went for defensive tackle Jarron Gilbert of San Jose State, and the Cowboys selected Western lllinois linebacker Jason Williams.

The BIG TEN DEFENSIVE LINEMAN of the year goes undrafted............LOL!

WOW

Something tells me Mr. King is very unhappy this evening, and I gotta believe he is going to pumped as hell about not being drafted to prove everyone wrong.
