How long should a BANK WIRE payment take?

I requested a withdrawal by bank wire from an advertisor here on Wednesday the 21st. I was told it would take 5 business days at most to show up in my account. 7 business days later and still nothing.

Should I be worried? How long do bank wires usually take? That time frame seems ridiculous in the computer age.

No more than 5 business days from the day that the draft is actually sent. (usually less).

It happens......3-4 days if everything goes well.

No need to panic, but you're really going to be pissed when you find out how long it takes to trace it if thats what they have to do.

If it's out of a 3rd world country it MAY take 5 days.
From another place you should get it in about 1 to MAX 4 days.

If it's from PanAm's "investors" then roughly 237 days should suffice.

Believe it or not, but bank wires done in a currency that belongs to one of the two countries involved in the transfer can arrive as quick as the same day! More problematic are those transfers done in a currency that does not belong to one of the two countries involved i.e. transferring British Pounds from Macau to Dubai or US Dollars from Belize to Belgium. Those transfers may take an extra two days, as they are being made through a corresponding bank.

Anyhow (including a weekend) after one week you should receive money in any currency from any country to any other country. If not, they lie!

If it's out of a 3rd world country
The country that gets the reward for the quickest in my list is Indonesia and the slowest Holland. Finally I have a good reason to classify Holland as a third world country!
