We'll see come Tuesday.

No "direct hit" on TampaBay area since the 1930s, but anything is possible I suppose

Bush is to blame. I just know he is. His response to this here potential natural disaster has been horrendous.

:nohead: Just getting it out there first!

You know that bitch is prepared

:lolBIG::lolBIG:

Barman and the Mrs. and you Timetopay are always welcome at my place.

By the way.......

This will not even be a category 1 hurricane........just a HUGE STORM with massive amounts of rain and 50-60 mph winds.

Seems that FISH is cool with us coming, TTP, but wants nothing to do with your Mrs and young crying babies.

If the rain does pour steady, I'm of course knocked out of my lawn/garden work and will be locked away in the nurturing bosom of the MotherShip here at the Bar n Grill

No problem....The dome will sound like a giant drum set while the rain pours, but inside a cool, comfortable 72degrees

ahh bar. When Ms.Fishy hears the wife and baby were not invited I have a feeling things will change.

Im hoping when Rays make the playoffs we get a bunch of us to go cause some chaos.

I was here when Gordon PPD a few games way back as well. Back in '04 when the BIG ones came the HR was the only place in town open. They were begging me to come in. I already started on a case of beer.

Current forecast:

Charlie was a Cat. 5. Small (size), but it just made it to a Category 5 before it made landfall south of Tampa (Punta Gorda).

This storm is supposed to be Tropical or at worst a Cat. 1, they are saying.

Gl to all of you down there.

They are more than welcomed....how is the little one doing?? I agree 100 percent with your comment about a Rays playoff game (lets just make sure Barman is not the Coordinator of such future events) :toast:

Hard Rock is one sure thing on stormy day

<HR noShade SIZE=1>The threat of Tropical Storm Fay was enough to prompt closings Tuesday for area job fairs, schools, government offices and tourism hot spots from Busch Gardens to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center to Lowry Park Zoo. But at least one entertainment venue specifically pledged to keep its doors open 24/7 come wind or high water: Tampa's Seminole Hard Rock Hotel. The slots, poker tables, restaurants and hotel will operate all day Tuesday, with ample fuel, food and generators to keep the lights on and ice plentiful. The casino isn't a shelter but was designed to withstand "even the strongest hurricane winds," said a news release. It did warn patrons to observe all official curfews and avoid driving until the roads are clear.
