How hard is it to stay married and gamble?

I have been married for 7 months. I havent had no problems so far. sometimes I get moody when I lose, but other than that no problems.

some problems here. wifey is a gambler also but not to the same extent....the only problems arise when i lose....winning is never a problem.

The key is to hide it from the wife IMO. I have seen guys call from closets before....

no problem as long as youre winning. keep it in the closet as much as possible.

Can be difficult for a relationship because of emotions. Learn to keep those emotions in check and then you have a better chance. Losing alot of money that she can use to buy clothes will cause problems too.

No problem if you both love to gamble and stay away from games where the fixed % will grind you out. My husband and I met through our love of horse racing ane we concentrate exclusively on that (Pic 3's,4's and 6's) and sports betting. We play the horse Twin Q's in town and always shop for best lines when betting a game...one of the reasons we moved here in LV. We have same attitude,win or lose...just like the action!

Been married 20 years. Awesome wife and three great kids. They all know I gamble and the years where I show a profit we all share the wealth. Last year I bought a new Harley, and this year I put a home theater room in the basement for us all to enjoy. I try not to mix gambling and family life but we all know that sometimes a bad beat will get you down. I gamble to make money not for the action. When I have a big day I throw the wife five hundred and tell her to go have some fun. I told her before we got married that I am a player and always will be so if that was a problem she might want to rethink things. I have a million things to be thankful for in my life but my wife and kids will always be #1.

The biggest issue I see is the TIME factor, not the actual gambling or money. Heck, if it wasn't for the money side of it my wife probably wouldn't put up with the time issue. It also is a bit more difficult with kid(s).
