How far can you toss a football?

I watched the QB challange today and one of the events was throwing a football as far as they could. Brian Leftwich won the event throwing 73 yards. All the thrown balls were between 60-73 yards. So my question is... how can can you toss it? The most i threw for was 63 yards, ofcourse with the official football.

About 2 years ago I lost $200 to a guy who claimed that he could throw a football over 60 yards for his knee. I could not believe it.

I was just surfing some more and i wanted to ask a question. My thread was sports related. It refered to the QB challenge that happened earlier today. But then i see threads about Movies.. which is fine but it's offtopic... and i see a thread about Hot Summer Day and a thread about Smoking a fatty. So then i start to think what was so wrong with my thread. It's not an idiotic question that i asked... it's not way off topic, then what is it? The mod who moved this topic give me a good reason on why this thread was moved.

A good or even no so good movie thread has some informational value. The weather in Las Vegas is pertininent to the upcoming Rx. Bash. Asking about tips for travel is normal Off Topic fare, and happens all the time, eg. Hawaii and Denver of late.

I am one of Wilheim's biggest fans...but I gotta agree with the degenerates on this one.

Bigbet or whatever his name is (and I like him), posts almost daily about his life and his mood swings and it stays...but a football related topic gets moved. I don't see the logic on this one. MANY other topics in the offshore section that should be moved before this one.

With that being said, Wilheim is batting around .990 and is a shoe in first ballot Hall of Famer with those numbers.
