Sending him was fine... he woudl have made it if he hadn't hesitated and looked back while running. When you're running you just run. You don't look back. It's Damon's error.

That was bad. I wouldn't have sent him even it was two outs.

maybe Damon did hesitate that doesn't give Sveum the excuse to send him or let him off the hook...If the coach was watching the play and knew the situation he would not have sent him,,,,, PERIOD!
